Hi folks, its been a long time. I’ve been away from writing on this website, but I still very much involved with the media. I started out as a photographer and now it has developed into a passion. Now, I photograph for a major media company, write, maintain multiple websites and loving every minute of it. Being multifunctional you just can not focus on one thing. I find myself bouncing around in my world wondering when this great rollercoaster ride is going to stop, so I can catch my breath. To tell you honestly, I don’t want it to stop. I can rest when I die.
One thing I love about this job is meeting people. I catch myself talking “shop” with people all the time. The entertainment industry is fascinating and I have this stong attraction to this wonderful creative and brilliant industry, where I can’t watch it on TV or at the theatre, I have to be involved in some way. But that enough about me.
A little while back, I met a youung actress and her name is Allie Haze. She was on the red carpet somewhere having a great time chatting with the media, lol, and making funny faces. At a recent event, I had an opportunity, by chance, to talk and joke around with her. She is incredible. Her personality will take your heart away. Now, is
my new bff and I can’t wait to she her again. So, if you have a chance to see her, go up to her a say hello and the rest will be history.
X-Play held its annual Halloween Party at the Ecco Ultra Lounge in Hollywood on Saturday Halloween night. This post is not so such about the event, but really about the man I know at X-Play, Jeff Mullen. I met Jeff years ago when he was producing movies for Sexy Pictures. Jeff is the brains behind all of the parody movies in the adult business. In mainstream entertainment, comic book inspired movies are huge, and in adult you have the parody sitcom movies. Blockbuster ‘Not the Bradys XXX’, a Jeff Mullen and Scott David creation, stared the sitcom parody craze. Followed by ‘Not Married With Children XXX’, ‘Not Cosby XXX’, ‘Not Monday Night Football XXX’ and now his latest ‘Flight Attendants”, starring Kayden Kross, Hillary Scott, Teagan Presley, Misty Stone, Kacey Jordan and Lexi Love.
I’m finally back to writing, because it relaxes me the most. After a wild weekend in San Francisco, followed by a bunch of Halloween parties, my energy level was nil and I had little desire to do much of anything. So, I blew off a birthday party this week to recharge my internal batteries and get my life back to a normal level. The Wednesday before Halloween, the fetish community had a pre-Halloween party at Club Hell in Hollywood. The party started out pretty slow, but by midnight things were in full swing. I have a rule, that during the week, my curfew is midnight. If I can not capture enough photos, by my curfew, then I sincerely doubt to get anymore before closing. As usual the patrons were fantastic and the girls looked great in their Halloween attire.
The Emmpopshots crew was on the road last weekend to attend the 30th Annual Exotic Erotic Ball and Expo at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. We felt right at home when we saw fellow Angelinos in attendance. Roy Karch, Marie Luv, Alexis Amore, Kelly Devine, Vannah Sterling, Shay Lynn and No Name Jane, along with L.A. media regulars, Gordon, Ralph, Ray Ray, Peter and Lee from Vegas.
Fetish Nation and the Batcave had its monthly party at the Circus in Hollywood. All of the regular party goers were there on this cool autumn evening. Things heated up very quickly when adult entertainment star Brooke Belle got tied up and whipped. Dressed only in a g-string and couple pieces of white tape to keep things private and legal, Master Greg created art out of rope.
Leather, latex, whips and rope. Not your ordinary household items, but for fetish it’s a necessity. You will see all of this and more at the monthly fetish parties in the southland. Club Hell, was held at Ivar, which is under renovation, and reduced this spacious multi-level club to half its size. This didn’t damper the spirits of the patrons who attend these events. Fetish is more of a lifestyle, and for this photographer/writer, it’s one my favorite type of events to cover.
